We discovered this vintage tennis plate at a shop in Locust Valley, NY. Couroc serving pieces are unique because they are hand inlaid by master craftsmen with shells and woods and metals infused into satin black phenolic. They are impervious to alcohol and water. The company based in Monterey, CA closed in 1998 making their cherished pieces invaluable.
