Hedge is pleased to announce our partnership with Grand Slam Tennis Tours!

Press Release

Stowe, VT (February 28th 2017) - Global tennis tourism company Grand Slam Tennis Tours has announced Hamptons-based fashion outfit Hedge-Quarters as the apparel partner of their 2017 Wimbledon Hospitality House, which is open from July 3rd-17th. The partnership, which includes an on-site presence in London during the Wimbledon fortnight and fashion activations around the Wimbledon tennis event, was created to place Hedge-Quarters designs in a natural context for its line of court-and-course apparel.

Grand Slam Tennis Tours, which specializes in high-end tennis travel experiences, operates their Hospitality House in a private home in Wimbledon Park, where they host clients each morning to enjoy brunch prepared by a private chef, to collect their Wimbledon tickets and to relax around the property’s tiered English garden before walking to tennis at the All-England Club. New for 2017, the Grand Slam Tennis Staff will wear Hedge clothing and Hedge will feature prominently in the private events hosted at the HH throughout the two weeks, which include several appearances by professional tennis players and a July 3rd launch party for trending tennis magazine, Racquet. If so inclined, guests will be able to purchase a dress, change at the house, and walk to Centre Court in their brand new attire.

“When you look at our Wimbledon guests you see that they spend time at some of the finest tennis and golf clubs around the world. They appreciate fashion and they demand quality in all aspects of their lives,” explains Andrew Chmura, president of Grand Slam Tennis Tours. “When considering an apparel partner for our Hospitality House we knew it had to be a strong cultural fit for Wimbledon and a brand whose designs and clothing are made to the standards of our clients. In Hedge, we found precisely that and we couldn’t be happier.”

“It is a dream come true to be featured at Wimbledon among the guests and players we created the collection for. Tennis has an elegant history and we have a deep respect for the tradition of the game. When we designed the first collection we began with all white because our choices there were so limited. Our goal is to take the classics and add the edge of modern elegance and feminity. Today, most women are very busy and tend to stay in their exercise clothes all day. In Hedge, you can look beautiful on and off the court. We aren’t trying to reinvent the wheel, we just wanted to get back to the days of the white wall tire.”
